MISSION STATEMENT: The P.S.A. exists to further the school’s vision, through volunteer work within the school, fundraising, education, and special events.

Each Oakwood School Parent is a member of the PSA and is encouraged to attend and participate in meetings and events. Please review the events on the website and sign up to volunteer for one or more activities by filling out the Parent Volunteer form. Participation in these activities provides an opportunity for parents to develop a closer relationship with the school community, to be more knowledgeable about school programs, and to become better acquainted with the faculty and administration.

FUNDRAISERS

Sally Foster Sale
August 27 – September 24 – (Co-Chairs: Ellen Engels and Laura Jones) If you already have enough wrapping paper on hand, encourage your friends and family to support The Oakwood School by filling their closets with this high quality wrapping paper available in patterns for all occasions.

Grandparents and Special Friends Day
October 8 – This event is an annual highlight giving grandparents and other special friends an opportunity to learn about Oakwood and meet their grandchildren's teachers and classmates. The day features musical performances by the students and classroom demonstrations.

Eagle Classic Golf and Tennis Tournament
October 22 – (Chaired by the Eagle Classic Committee) Last year's were such a success that we are planning the 2nd Annual Eagle Classic Golf & Tennis Tournament! Whether your sport is golf at Greenville Country Club, tennis at Baywood Racquet Club, (or neither!), all Oakwood parents are invited to participate and include friends and business associates. Details to follow.

Fall Festival
October 29– It's back!! Oakwood's favorite family event. Food, games, pumpkins, hay rides, and fall fun for all.

International Night/Family Fun Night
January 21 – (Chair: Aziza Alatrash) Oakwood's finest international cooks will prepare fabulous dishes from all over the world. Expand your horizons and your taste buds and bring the whole family!

Wine Tasting
February 4 – (Chair: Melanie Tedder) This casual, drop-in Winter Wine Tasting with great food will be the cure for your winter blues.

March Madness Bake Sale
March 25 – Stock up on casseroles, cookies, cakes, and other baked treats created by some of the amazing bakers in the Oakwood community.

Spring Auction
April 8 – Oakwood's elegant spring event, the auction is an opportunity to have a great time with friends, bid on exciting items, and support our school. Details to follow.

Teacher Appreciation Week
May 2-6 – Join the PSA in our effort to show Oakwood's faculty and staff how much we appreciate their hard work during National Teacher Appreciation Week.

Earn Cash for OAKWOOD
Help earn free money for our school by re-linking your Harris Teeter VIC Card ( Harris Teeter) and your Food Lion MVP card (Food Lion MVP)and by applying in the store or online at Target.com for the Target Visa and designating Oakwood.

We always look forward to many of our other favorite traditions including the new family orientation, back to school volunteer fair, the student store, and community service.
